Set up your Nuzlocke overlay (Solo or SoulLink) for OBS in 3 steps

2 Customize your overlay
Add optional URL parameters to change the overlay's look. These get baked into your link.

Enable German names to enter species such as Bisasam and Glumanda; nicknames stay as entered. Vertical layout stacks circles on the left. Reverse changes the order of the displayed team. After changing options, copy the updated link into OBS.

3 Copy your OBS overlay link
This link includes your data. Paste it into OBS as a Browser Source. The overlay will show your team members live and update automatically when you edit the text above.

4 Add to OBS
In OBS, add a new Browser source. Paste the copied URL. You can set the width and height to any size. For best results, use your full stream canvas dimensions (e.g. 1920x1080) to cover the bottom of the screen. For vertical layout, try a tall source (e.g. 300x1080) and position it on the left. Enable "Refresh browser when scene becomes active".

URL Parameters: 

?font=FontName   Load a Google Font (e.g. ?font=Press+Start+2P)
?art=home       Use Pokemon HOME HD sprites instead of default
?gen=1-5       Use Gen 1-5 typing (e.g. Clefairy = Normal instead of Fairy)
?lang=de       Accept German Pokémon species names (English still works)
?layout=vertical Stack circles along the left edge
?reverse=true  Reverse the displayed circle order

Name normalization: Type names naturally — the overlay handles the rest. 

Mr. Mime  →  mr-mime
Galarian Mr. Mime  →  mr-mime-galar
Farfetch'd  →  farfetchd
Type: Null  →  type-null
